RECORD LABEL MANAGER


Glasshaus Presents is seeking a Record Label Manager responsible for running a boutique record label, top to bottom. This will be someone with expertise in the music industry and an understanding of how to effectively release, promote, and distribute albums with A-list talent, while booking monthly shows for our Live at Glasshaus concert series.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the process of album development, vinyl manufacturing, digital/physical distribution

  • Handle the booking of talent for our Live at Glasshaus series

  • Serve as liaison between the company and artist representatives: managers, agents, labels, legal, publicists, etc

  • Obtain necessary licensing, including mechanical, sync, etc.

  • Coordinate with team members to handle the promotion of albums/projects

  • Research and analyze the performance of projects across all markets/territories

  • Execute marketing strategies and promotional campaigns

  • Upload lyrics/songs to online databases, including Genius, AllMusic, Discogs, etc.

  • Submit albums to the GRAMMYs and other applicable award shows 


Qualifications:

  • Previous leadership experience at a record label

  • Expertise in the development and distribution of an album

  • Advanced knowledge of the music industry, including streaming, trends, media, licensing, royalties, and data analysis

  • An existing network in the music industry with artists, representatives, etc.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organization skills and multi-tasking capabilities

  • Collaborative team player

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications:

  • A passion for music across various and diverse genres

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • NYC-based

GLASSHAUS
